About Us

Our History

We Care 2 began in the early 2000’s by a group of dedicated & passionate people who noticed that people needed help with being able to afford food & had a heart to help the community.  Giving so much of their time, effort, personal finances – it was through their hard work the small food support service was birthed.  We Care 2 has grown so much from helping around 15 clients per day with pre-cooked meals & food hampers into the amazing organisation we see today in 2025. We Care 2 now has 5 main programs including a large Low-cost food centre, Emergency relief, Free counselling services, Community Breakfast & Sunshine Van (portable hot showers and clothes washing facility).

We are so grateful for all those who started the journey of We Care 2 & all those who have been a part of helping us grow to where we are today – helping over 700 individuals & families a week with low-cost food, Free breakfasts & more.

Helping people where they are at – this is what we strive to do.  We Care 2’s passionate & caring staff & volunteers continue to help with the same heart of compassion to continue the We Care 2 story.
