We Care 2 couldn’t exist without our huge family of supporters, donors and volunteers.
The financial aid we receive makes a big difference in how we can impact people in crisis. However, if you prefer to donate your time and energy, we’d love to see you volunteer as it also helps people on the Fraser Coast doing it tough.
We know that stronger individuals make for stronger families which make for a stronger community and thus a stronger nation. Our goal is to empower people to live fulfilling and productive lives. To achieve that We Care 2, with support from many other community groups, has put together some different programs to help families and individuals.

Thank you to the Hervey Bay RSL for sponsoring our Annual Volunteers Appreciation event! We love honouring our volunteers for all their hard work, dedication & heart that they put into us being able to help those in our community who are less fortunate.
Our theme this year was ‘You are an essential part of our team!’ In everyones gift bags they received a few puzzle pieces & we had a table for us to all put our part of the puzzle together to make the big picture.
Recent Grants & Sponsorship
Thank you to the Department of Social Services ‘Social Shift’ for a grant to provide access a new training opportunity called The Richards Truama Process (TRTP) for our Counselling staff.
The TRTP approach is a deeply compassionate and structured 3 step process that is individually moulded to each client’s requirements. The process addresses self-sabotage and empowers the client from the outset. TRTP elegantly works through past traumas without needing the client to retell their story, and the work beautifully deals with guilt, shame and grief.
We are so excited to assist clients in overcoming trauma, changing lives, and re-writing futures!!
